Robert S. Clark, CPA, MBA

Managing Partner

Bob Clark is a New Mexico native and has been a Certified Public Accountant in New Mexico since 1979.  Bob received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Utah and spent the early years of his accounting career working with the international accounting firms Touche Ross & Co and KMPG Peat Marwick.  He left public accounting in 1983 to accept a position with a medical technology firm.  He was the co-owner and operator of this business until it was successfully sold in 1994.

Bob reentered public accounting in 1994 and operated as a sole practitioner until February 2009 when he acquired the accounting practice of John Burwinkle, CPA. Since that time, he has devoted his effort to growing the practice, which now has three CPAs an Enrolled Agent and three administrative staff members.

Bob has a background in both auditing and tax work and specializes in serving small business clients.  In addition to these areas of expertise, Bob is also knowledgeable in Quickbooks and other accounting software.  He has assisted many clients in setting up accounting systems.  Bob’s clients include: medical and dental practices, law firms, construction companies, and not-for-profit organizations.

Joseph V. Saavedra, CPA

Joe Saavedra is a New Mexico native and has been a Certified Public Accountant in New Mexico since 1979.  He has a BBA in accounting from the University of New Mexico.  He has over forty years of experience practicing as a certified public accountant with several Firms including a national accounting firm.

Joe has experience in providing audit, review, compilation, business advisory and management services.  He also has experience in providing clients with business, individual and not-for profit taxation services.  He manages our Belen office and specializes in serving small to medium size business and individuals. Joe has provided services to clients in the following areas:  construction, professional service firms, manufacturing, wholesale, retail sales, restaurants, farm and ranch operations, automobile and heavy equipment dealerships, real estate, financial institutions, federal and state government, country clubs and not-for profit organizations.
